Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 28, 2026 · Applies to all games published by Elysforge
Elys Forge Corporation, operating as Elysforge ("we", "us"), is an independent studio based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what information is collected when you play our mobile games on Google Play or the Apple App Store, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Our games do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or contact details to play. The information collected is limited to what our games and their integrated services need to function, show advertising, and improve stability:
- Device and advertising identifiers — such as the Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA/IDFV, collected by advertising partners to serve and measure ads.
- Device information — device model, operating system version, language, screen size, and general (coarse, IP-based) location such as country, used for ad delivery, localization, and diagnostics.
- Gameplay and diagnostics data — app interactions, session length, crash logs, and performance data, used to fix bugs and improve our games.
- Purchase information — when you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so we can deliver the item, but we never receive or store your payment card details.
Third-party services in our games
Our games include software from the following partners, which collect the data described above under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Unity (game engine, ads, and analytics services) — unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase (purchases) — governed by Google's and Apple's privacy policies.
Individual games may use a subset of these services. Where a specific game uses an additional service, its store listing and in-game credits will say so.
Advertising and your choices
- Consent. In regions where consent is required (such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), you will see a consent prompt before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the game's settings.
- Apple App Tracking Transparency. On iOS, our games request tracking permission through Apple's ATT prompt. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized using your identifier.
- Device controls. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).
Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process the information described above on these legal bases: your consent for personalized advertising, which you can withdraw at any time from the game's settings; our legitimate interests for non-personalized advertising, crash reporting, diagnostics, and improving our games; and performance of a contract for delivering the game and your in-app purchases.
Children
Our games are intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of our games, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and deletion
We do not operate our own servers for player data; the data described above is held by the third-party services listed. Advertising and analytics partners retain data according to their own published policies. Locally saved game progress is stored on your device and is removed when you uninstall the game. To request deletion of data associated with your device identifiers, contact us at the address below and we will pass the request to the relevant partners, or you can reset your advertising identifier in your device settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, such as a European supervisory authority, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, sharing advertising identifiers with our advertising partners to show personalized ads may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some US state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time by declining or withdrawing consent in the game's settings, or through the device controls described above. We do not use personal information for purposes beyond those described in this policy.
Security and international transfers
The service providers we use are global companies, and data they collect may be processed in countries other than your own, protected by the safeguards described in their policies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the providers we integrate are industry-standard services used across the mobile games industry.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version at this address and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in our games or store listings where appropriate.
